yarx, a DJ and researcher from Ankara based in Vienna, draws inspiration from Istanbul’s bass scene, SWANA rhythms, and global club music. In their sets, leftfield dubstep, grime, jungle, footwork, Gqom, and breaks collide—bound not by genres, but by an intuitive feel for rhythm, texture, and percussion. Fast-paced mixing with dynamic arcs of tension: every set tells a story. Rooted in the UK Hardcore Continuum, yarx moves the body while simultaneously destabilizing it—deconstructed, post-club, and uncompromising.
