Avin Ahmadi ^{【AUT-IRN】}

Vienna-based Iranian oud player, vocalist, and improviser Avin Ahmadi grew up with the often underestimated, narrowly defined instrument, the oud—and challenges its traditional boundaries. She has developed a distinctive, personal style that weaves together vocals and oud playing. Above all, she views herself as a storyteller through sound. Her solo project Qayeq presents an independent intercultural sound shaped by Persian and jazz influences.
