Authentically Plastic—an electronic DJ, producer, performer, and essayist from Kampala, Uganda—created ANTI-MASS, a nomadic, defiantly rebellious club night that carved out spaces for queer expression within a repressive climate. The sound is politically charged, fast-paced, multi-layered, and improvised—dark, playful, and highly energetic all at once. Drawing from Gqom, techno, and noise, they craft hybrid sets shaped by early acid and industrial experiments as well as Afrofuturismus.
