The Barcelona-based Catalan-Italian duo Dame Area usually leave their audience speechless. They have played almost 200 live shows in recent years and have created a consensus: they are one of the best live acts of the moment.
They stand for an eclectic, sophisticated form of contemporary industrial music garnished with hypnotic minimal synthesiser sounds and complex polyrhythms. They also combine reconstructed elements of post-punk and Latin EBM. An artistic identity that allows for the most diverse influences, but avoids compromises and changing flavours. With all these elements, the energetic live show is a unique experience.
