dj mackerschreck is constantly trying to change the scene and make it more accessible for everyone. She places a particular focus on combating racism and patriarchal structures in the ‘woke’ club scene, taking a stand against the white, hedonistic club culture and drawing the audience’s attention back to the music and the sound. Influenced by the hip-hop and RnB sound of the 90s and 00s, she likes to play electro, dembow, breaks, drum & bass and trance.
