Gordan reflect the mysticism of Balkan legends in music that bridges raw expression and abstraction, tradition and the avant-garde. The haunting vocals of Svetlana Spajić (Marina Abramović, Robert Wilson, Antony and the Johnsons) are deeply rooted yet profoundly interpretive. Drummer Andi Stecher (STECHER, Billy Bultheel, Orchestre Les Mangelepa) and Guido Möbius on bass and electronics steer the songs in inspired, unpredictable directions through their sonic strategies.
