Matekoi are audio-visual duo Maxim Barron (Toy, Death Disco) and visual artist Daisy Dickinson. Hypnotic. Strobe Soaked. Sonically spatialised. Matekoi inhabits the space between. The project began with a live spatialised AV performance at Immersive Fields Festival using D&B’s Soundscape system and involved moving sound and visuals around the space, giving the audience an other-worldly, multi-sensory experience. Since then it has taken on a variety of forms including live sets at The ICA and Iklectik in London, Glastonbury, and Supernormal festivals, as well as a tour of Japan and South Korea in 2023.
