SIKSA ^POL

SIKSA (Yiddish: שיקסע, romanized: shikse, derogatory word for a young woman perceived as vulgar, inexperienced, and immature) is a feminist duo arranged for voice, bass, lyrics and body. SIKSA concerts combine the energy of a punk concert, performative poetry or contemporary dance. Interaction with the audience gives each show unique dramatic qualities.

At PFF 23 they present their new performance “…and the She-devil bangs with the bass” – the title of a legend, a Christmas carol and a myth – all in one.
