Šimanský and Niesner alternate acoustic guitars with lap steel guitars and create additional drone soundscapes with a shruti box. On the current album “Všechno dobré” they reinterpret the controversial and often reductionist genre term “American Primitive Guitar” by developing an idiosyncratic vocabulary for the wooden instrument based on their own lived melancholic paradoxes of Central Europe.
