The ‘Totaloskop’ is a fictional, holographic simulation device from science fiction literature. It originates from the short story of the same name by Japanese author Kōbō Abe (1960) and became widely known through the East German sci-fi novel Andymon. Inspired by this concept, the musical Totaloskop oscillates between retro-futuristic machine-pop and driving electro, inviting you to the dance floor. With pulsating synthesizers and crashing drum machines, it tells fragments of (counter-)utopian tales.
